It depends on what I feel like doing. It also depends on the game, but I mostly play MW2, so lets stick with that.
I quickscope half the time, and I am a rushing uber-pwner half the time. When I'm to laggy to quickscope, I rush.

I would say Sniping it a good position or camping with claymores but looking at a good part of the map.
