windows is best , linux is quite difficult as compared to windows .
But linux features and looks are very nice

I've tried Linux & Windows.. Linux is quite good for me tho, it's open source, lots of version to choose from like ubuntu, kubuntu, mint, sabayon etc.. If you guys never try Linux, how about give it a shot in VMware or Virtual Box.. =)

I honestly prefer Windows mainly due to the support of a largely/widely used OS. I can google pretty much -any- problem and find the answer somewhere, I assume it'd be a little more difficult for Linux users to find what they were looking for. Windows 7's GUI is really great looking also.

to be honest i totally prefer windows against linux, but if it was linux against ubuntu, i'd pick ubuntu, so yeah i'd pick windows

I haven't used Linux, but from the research I've done, it seems a lot better than Windows.

I like Windows more. Linux has several problems around. It is not like you will get a virus so easily. If you are smart enough and use the correct precautions you will be fine..

There's linux alternatives for pretty much every program, if not there's always wine..

I don't understand why people don't make programs for linux, i suppose it's because they sell them. But even "Hackers" make programs for Windows for free..
