It's much more difficult and expensive than to build a desktop.

God damn, building a laptop is going to be expensive, more expensive than buying a pre-built one in almost all cases.

If you had the choice to build either a Laptop or a Desktop it will be a lot easier to build a Desktop as you have a lot more space to work with, plus you can easily upgrade it.
