Dedicate more ram to the computer, leave it running while you go (after you restart( RE: Benefits of using Linux? - Code King - 10-07-2009 Free OS and free apps are always a great advantage for linux. RE: Benefits of using Linux? - RPicard - 10-07-2009 Meh, Wubi gave me some sort of error and closed after I already restarted and got over half way done. I guess the Linux god doesn't find me worthy. That has to be over 5 failed installations for me. WTF LINUX GOD!! (10-07-2009, 07:14 PM)Code King Wrote: Free OS and free apps are always a great advantage for linux. I've used disks before and checked though. I've even installed fine but I always get to a blank brown screen after start-up. I don't mind, I just thought I would give it a try to learn a little about it. Try comparing md5 checksums on that iso image then. It shouldn't fail. It's an installer for Ubuntu that doesn't require any knowledge whatsoever (not that I need that). Like I said though, I'm not too worried about it. |
