True, but it would mean the same thing as a prefix really. This isn't along the lines of closing the thread, closing a thread would include more permissions that Omni didn't feel like giving out.

Threads can be requested to be closed, but there's only 2 moderators, and 1 admin for all of the forum. How long would that last if the forum continues to grow? If we were able to close our own threads, it wouldn't help the content of the forum by adding posts from discussions like this. You and me right now are helping the activity of SF in its development.
