RE: Reputations - Pins222 - 10-12-2009

Great idea, Omni. Now I need 76 more posts to asskiss!

RE: Reputations - Combo - 10-13-2009

The new change is great, I think 100 posts is fine, after the website gets more popular, 250 posts would be reasonable.

Good idea.

RE: Reputations - DAMINK™ - 10-13-2009

Would this apply for staff also Omni?
Just asking as there is nothing to say in staff applications about min 100 posts so i figure the limitation would be limited to user group and therefor if someone was to get mod seat and had under 100 posts then they could rep??
Doesnt matter im sure but just curious.

Omni has made it because there was lot of mess.

RE: Reputations - SylverTech - 10-15-2009

i think the rep system should be deleted
it kills forums

RE: Reputations - Grizzly - 10-15-2009

You wouldn't get negative rep if you actually contributed to the forums and quit whining about it.

RE: Reputations - UID=0 - 10-16-2009

Another good implementation here, thanks!

It's obviously been carefully considered, but it wouldn't have disappointed me, to have seen that the minimum amount of posts required,
before you are able to give any form of Rep, was set at 500, as I suggested at another thread a while ago.

I think that if it was set at a relatively high figure such as that, it could mean that you have committed yourself to this site, on a long-term basis,
and that sort of amount of time spent at the board, should provide you with an insight into if others are deserving of Rep points or not.

RE: Reputations - DAMINK™ - 10-16-2009

Wow!! 2 threads going at once regarding rep.
Sort of taking away from what this site is about dont you think?
Screw the rep. If its such an issue then scrap it and move on. I come here to hopefully help or get help. Not to get REP!!

RE: Reputations - Grizzly - 10-16-2009

Quit posting in these threads and just let it die.
