RE: External Hardrives [OS Installs] - ProspectDotNet - 10-08-2009 I have successfully installed and ran Windows 7 from my Ext. HDD. Thanks for all the help I appreciate it very much. I do have other problems however, posted in their respective places on the forums. Check them out and see if you can help out. RE: External Hardrives [OS Installs] - h4ck3d- - 10-08-2009 no idea if this was posted but: why would you install and OS on an external HDD that is a mistake, if you want 2 OS then partition your computers HDD and use your external for storage RE: External Hardrives [OS Installs] - ProspectDotNet - 10-09-2009 (10-08-2009, 11:28 PM)h4ck3d- Wrote: no idea if this was posted but: Why is that a mistake? Everything works perfectly fine. I've resolved the only driver issue I had. I'm in Windows 7 off my external hard drive. I have access to my main C drive. I can copy files and programs over. Everything is fine. |
