I'd honestly have to say no.
Having an award on here for HF members draws traffic to the site, even if it is sometimes spam.
Without some of these posts from the HF members, including my self this forum may be dead at certain points of the day.

No , All SF members are not from HF! We have a good traffic to our site and I'm sure that without these kinda spam posts from HF members with an intention to gain the award SF will not perish.

I'm an Award whore, although I'm not noticed for it and the Youtube award is too hard as I'm also lazy. But, This award gives users the motivation to post, if LQ then they get banned and no award is given but most are HQ and the award is given, respectively.
So I vote, No.
