RE: Constant blue screens on startup - UID=0 - 10-08-2009 It sounds though, as if this is more software, than hardware related imo. RE: Constant blue screens on startup - hinstera - 10-08-2009 could be your display problem RE: Constant blue screens on startup - Ovchik - 10-09-2009 Yea, too much hassle for just a problem, try going into 'Safe Mode' (F8 on Bios Boot), backup ALL the important stuff you need, and PLEASE just reformat the thing... RE: Constant blue screens on startup - UID=0 - 10-11-2009 No! There is absolutely no need to re-format your PC at all! That would mean having to back everything up, to avoid data loss, which is truly not necessary in this case! It seems that some people think that re-formatting is the same as re-installing which it is not. All you have to do, is what I have already suggested and that is to either re-install Windows XP, onto a new partiton, or onto the same partiton, but into a new Windows installation folder called, for example Windows1. It couldn't be much simpler really. You will probably have to re-install some applications, but not all, because you may be able to run those other applications, by creating short-cuts to them instead. I believe very strongly, that this will work, as I have done this many, many times myself. If it doesn't work, then you do have a hardware problem. |
