Most people do not actually want to kill them self that`s the thing, they just want help or to noticed or there could be many other reasons why they would do something so harsh, but that is the main reason so many fail, lets face it if you wanted to do it there would be no stopping you.
This is a great thread even if it helps to save 1 life its been worthwhile

I know a parent who failed to kill themselves. Unfortunately everyone became frightened of them so it wasn't much of a help.
