I would have to agree with Pitbulls being one of if not the strongest dogs in the world. I had an American Staffy X Pitbull, was a very playful dog though.

I didn't know pitbull dogs.
So i just googled it and WTF there are many cases for them.
A lot of bloodshed of the enemies when they fight.

They are pretty good at fighting but I would have to say Germen Shepherds. Why? Well because when you see them on tv shows like cops and they chase a guy down and tackle them easily I don't think a pitbull can do that.
