This is an problem with all softwares, people need to upgrade the extensions not the developers.
I like firefox 2. I think it has neat functions and a lot stabler then 1.5. I've used it since it's alpha days though so I've grew into it.

Question: When the final version come out, does it just update like every version, and you keep booksmarks etc.?

Yes you keep everything except for the outdated extensions/themes.
The final version isn't that far off (I think).
There will be one or two RC's before it. though beta testing is soon over.

Not EVERYONE knows how to write code.

I miss most of 'em but Roboform is the one that I can't do without. I find myself starting IE to help get me through.

Ah! Understood. And I agree except that I can kinda understand them not wanting to publish updates before the final version of FF2 is released.
