Fallout 3 is a must-buy for a good single player game. The graphics aren't top-of-the-line compared to other modern games, but there are mods for that. It has so many things to do, and has a lot of replayability.

For PC, some of my favourites (that I'd reccomend) are:
- Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
- Halo 2 (PC)
- Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
- Hitman: Blood Money (trust me)
- Fallout 3 (for the singleplayer)
The reason I chose CoD4 over MW2 is because to be quite frank with you, MW2 (imo) is a waste of money. When you could spend less money, getting the better game (CoD4). Blood Money is just for the complete fun of it all, it's a fun game with many twists and you can choose the outcome(s). Hope I helped.
