turtle beach's are SOOOO overrated. I own a pair of x31's and they aren't as good as people say they are.

And yes, Tryhard's right. I agree with you, man. You can hear footsteps a mile away. If you have Sitrep Pro, you'll hear people running around from the other side of the map, I kid you not.

Well, If you are a major gamer and want to spend 200 dollars on a stupid pair of head phones when all it is is your TV through your ears with a little base boost. Then go for it. I personally can hear almost every thing through my surround sound, so I have no need for a special head set.

i just use turtle beaches x1's they keep me just fine and havent had a problem in the 8 months that i've owned them.

The x31's are recommended for average gamers. After talking to many people on various forums I have decided not to buy Astro's after debating weather I should or not I chose not to.
