Yea when you wait you kinda seal your fate. Maybe one day you 2 will be together but you present failure to hide your feelings is what caused it. Even though there is an unspoken code(well at least there used to be) It only applies to when you are actually putting an effort to get there attention.

Your only in 8th or 9th grade you shouldn't be dating anyway focus on sports and school then the girl will come anyways.

But in any situation if the girl likes someone else she likes someone else just let it be and if it was ment to be she will come to you.

Mate , you shouldn't of waited for 7year's but i guess it's time for you to let it go since it's not gonna work.

Maybe if she dumps him , you can tell her how much you like her.

Would you really want sloppy seconds?
It just wasn't meant to be. Just focus on other things as I said before like academics and sports and the girls will come to you. But for future reference next time you like a girl don't try and be shy because they is most likely another person who likes her to. Treat every moment as an oppurtunity and you will prosper.

Look on the brightside.

He's your bestfriend.

Know what that means? they will be hanging out a lot.
Hang out with them and use that time to get to know her better, spend more time with her..you know, make her like you more.

Just don't be obvious with it, as your friend may not like that too much.

It happens to the best of us my friend...

I wouldn't say it's his "fault", that sounds so negative. If he liked her in first grade and it's been 7 years, he's only in 8th grade which is quite young. I remember my first crush...I got it in 4th grade and still had feelings for this boy about 6 or 7 years later. It's really hard to reveal such feelings in high school, people can be horrible jerks.

That having been said, it may suck now but honestly -- you are very young. Things change so much, so fast. When I was your age, I was hopelessly "in love" with a guy I had been crushing on since 4th grade. He was perfect, he was everything.

Now, I'm with someone else entirely. I'm a geek who loves technology and am in college. The guy I was crushing on never finished college. After one semester, he quit. I heard he's in taxidermy now but I can't be sure. I haven't seen him since I was 15.

I don't like taxidermy and I never would have pegged him for being into that sort of thing... Weeeiiirrrd things happen.

It's kind of your fault, you let it slip by.

RE: Girls - Crow - 04-20-2010

'Betrayed' is the last thing you should feel.
Just because you like that girl doesn't mean your friend doesn't have the right to like her too.
Even if you like her more, or first. She's not a property. And about the girl, find out why she
likes your friend and why she doesn't like her current bf. Then do what you think would make
her like you. DON'T, by any meaning, tell her you like her unless you're sure she likes you too.
Make her fall for you before she realizes you're into her. Cause otherwise, she'll find it almost
impossible to love you, if we're talking about that.

was a dick move on his part
but also ur fault shoulda told her man

RE: Girls - Foresight - 04-20-2010

You should have said something before waiting seven years. Also, you can't really be mad at your friend, sure he knew you liked her, but you never did let her know that you did. So, it's his turn when she breaks up with her current bf. By the way, did you show any interest at all, like any hints or anything?
