Yea the laptop video connections are meant as an output only type of situation. If you would like to use a computer screen for hd play I would recommed getting a widescreen from tigerdirect or walmart. Or just buy an hdtv from one of those sources or bestbuy.

bro just get a cheap monitor you can get one pretty cheap i bet off of craigslist thats were i got mine ad the quality is just as good a HD TV
