Domain "hacks" are imho a bad idea. The most popular example of one is Del.icio.us

Yes, it is simply called domain theft like siberforum mentioned. You loose your domain name in such activities.

It's just annoying IMO to have to type all the .s, they're unnecessary and I'll just be typing in delicious from now on.. thanks! Smile
