It's called ChromeOS, and the internet is at it's core. You have an online desktop and a lot of your opps will be online, I.E google docs instead of Word.

The nexus one is the equivlant to the Droid eris/the updated software to the htc touch

Old news, but its definately not comparable to the iphone/hd2 YET.
If they do a next model then sure..But atm IMHO its not.
