Yeah, got it. Since iPod Touch can't have 3G the thingy transforms 3G into WiFi. Nice, vodafone has one for 100$ + 25$ Month.

How good does it pick up? Is it a lot of places?

It works like the mobile, it takes the signal from HDSPA (The modem vodafone offers) and transforms it into WiFi. So, if you buy it from Vodafone from Spain, and pay for it monthly it will work in every place where there is a mobile connection. 25$ / Month is okay, but the 100$ for the device is much. I think, if we would pay 100$ for the device we should have gotten atleast half year free.

Look it up, but it works wherever it gets service, kinda like a phone.
