RE: What the fudge is going on - MrTylerHaz - 01-09-2012 If i were you i would take legal actions yourself, do whatever you can extra. At the end of the day you were hacked, if you were to take legal actions what sort of stuff/things would you get from it? After speaking with Microsoft, PayPal and my bank we have confirmed that these were fraudulent payments. In my opinion, yes you should take legal action. Think about it, would they really care about you if those were some of the only savings you had? No of course not, they would rather use what is POTENTIALLY your last few cents and dump it on an XBL account. RE: What the fudge is going on - Rihsky - 01-09-2012 I would suggest you go further into this, you could come out with a few extra bucks. Besides personal gain though, It will prevent whoever it was from doing it again for a while. RE: What the fudge is going on - Omniscient - 01-09-2012 Since you're fully refunded you have no personal legal recourse for damages. Unfortunately you'll just waste your time. Paypal and Microsoft won't do anything beyond banning the GT, and possibly the console which was used. 10k MSP is not worth that much money, and therefore it's petty theft along with fraud. Which actually isn't a huge deal in this case. |
