RE: Would a Racoon be able to catch a cat? - Pikachu - 01-05-2012 My cat is a decent size and can probably outrun a raccoon. Also, If your cat is a kitten, it may not have the speed. RE: Would a Racoon be able to catch a cat? - Smellz-like-chr0n - 01-05-2012 I'm pretty sure it has happened in the past but any regular outside cat could easily out run a racoon but there are some smart racoons out there. RE: Would a Racoon be able to catch a cat? - Quizzical - 01-05-2012 Your cat should be fine, racoons tend to corner animals then make a pounce onto them, your cat should easily outsmart it anyway. RE: Would a Racoon be able to catch a cat? - Grin - 01-05-2012 I think not either. I mean cats...they can run up trees and the thing is yet can land really well. I'm sure raccoons can get up trees, but it wouldn't be as efficient...and then...it wouldntake a while for them to get down. |
