RE: PS3 "Fat" or Slim? - AMD - 11-08-2011 Slim it has less chance of over heating and its not as noisy as fat. RE: PS3 "Fat" or Slim? - ImStalkinYaMom - 11-08-2011 Screw the slim lol the phat one looks so legit I bet it'll rise in price when the slim drops XD RE: PS3 "Fat" or Slim? - Represent - 11-08-2011 I've got the slim & I'd prefer it over the fat one. The thicker ones aren't really my style, I never bought thicker Sony game consoles (PS2 - Slim). RE: PS3 "Fat" or Slim? - JDBar - 11-09-2011 If you get the older Fat models you can play PS2 and PS1 games, I believe the 40GB model does. However, you can upgrade the HDD at any time. I upgraded my 80GB model to 500GB. RE: PS3 "Fat" or Slim? - John. - 11-10-2011 The Fat Ones I heard run better, my friend has a Slim and the DVD Drive like practically burned out with a CD inside of it. RE: PS3 "Fat" or Slim? - Genuine - 11-12-2011 I prefer the slim because it is smaller and can fit in most spots. The original one just takes up space. |
