my family did away with presents this year we all have good jobs and prezies just stress people out so we decided to go all out with Christmas brunch and dinner

Yeah that sounds pretty bad.
Just try to occupy yourself with other things and you won't feel as "depressed".
Prepare for the upcoming holidays, such as new years, go to a bar, maybe meet some people.
Get a job, go join a club, anything that promotes socialization; you'll make friends in no time.

Find someone, there has to be someone else out there who is also spending it alone, look on Facebook, or go to a Bar, walk through the streets, you'll find somebody :3
