RE: New virus? - Lazydude2000 - 10-15-2009 Meh i don't check my email lol Thanks for the warning though RE: New virus? - JDBar - 10-15-2009 Not necessarily fake, just worded badly. A couple of months ago I got a spoofed email claiming to be from Hallmark, and apparently I had received a downloadable e-card. The download link was from a site other than the Halmark site, but the links labeled "FAQ, About Us, Support, Contact, etc." lead to the Hallmark site. It was very believable if you didn't check the e-card link. I immediately marked it as spam and deleted it. RE: New virus? - R3c0nna1ssanc3 - 10-15-2009 I doubt that is real but I am always on the look out for possible infections. RE: New virus? - DAMINKā¢ - 10-15-2009 Cool cool. I hope this is real. I hope i get it. Copy the email to another drive then test out its worth. If i loose c who cares. I will just reinstall and then have a deeper look at the virus. I have crap loads of virus stored on a spare harddrive actually. If anyone actually gets this then please let me know RE: New virus? - Codine - 10-15-2009 I've seen this e-mail before, last year infact.. It's pretty old.. I'm kind of suprised that it hasn't actually died out yet. RE: New virus? - Extasey - 10-16-2009 If its good enough, people just rip the source code and port their own version! I like looking at the source code for viruses aswell, its interesting how some people code them, and try to keep the virus under the radar! |
