using utorrent is a better idea.. limewire has a lot of virus connected to software you download.. once i used limewire, download 25 files all with virus..

When I used limewire (AGES ago) I always got dud movies. I remember downloading "Pirates of the Caribbean" and getting "the Baby Sitter", which was of course a porn!

Maybe you're doing something wrong? I always make sure the movies are around 700mb, i prefer (.avi fies) they work best with the player i have, i check them at 10% make sure they are of good quality (If not then i cancel them). I have an older version of Limewire Pro, i have gotten easily over 140gig of good quality movies just from Limewire, a heap of music too.
If i can't find what i want then i use Torrent. Movies seem to download faster on Limewire.
Most of the "non-duds" are around 700mb, .avi files, and they have (dvd-rip) included in the title.

I also use Vuze, but lately I'm just hiring them from the dvd shop and ripping them.

Limewire sucks, i've not used it in years after a days it goes slow and corrupts like you are experiencing now. If you want to P2P download i suggest frostwire.
