I know this was sorted out and all that, but I'm just wondering how this happens? I got this a while ago aswell.

Cloudflare is a filtering system. Protection against spam and other things that it considers as spam I believe. It's a free system that works like a proxy between visitors and the server. Spam protection also includes things like bots. You could be getting that for any number of reasons so i'm not sure.
