I admit it, I did install Ubuntu + Mint few days back, I loved Mint.. I just loved Linux itself but, I'm into XP. When I get a new computer, I'll put XP here and Linux there. RE: Switch. End that fight. - p0w3r0fchr1st - 10-13-2009 Yes. Im dual booting mine with 7 and Ubuntu. So I am not completly against Microsoft. Just tring to help RE: Switch. End that fight. - WirelessWave - 10-13-2009 Vista For The Win. All i have to say. Case closed. RE: Switch. End that fight. - Headshot - 10-13-2009 @p0w3r, TBH, You didn't help at all by saying end that fight and all that. Imagine in real life, Iraq vs. America. Russia gets in and goes like END THE FIGHT! COME TO RUSSIA! -.- RE: Switch. End that fight. - p0w3r0fchr1st - 10-13-2009 LOL, good point. but actually what I was trying to get at is that linux is good try it out. if you like it...well then keep it RE: Switch. End that fight. - Elektrisk - 10-13-2009 I've tried Linux before, and I think there's too much hype about it. Sure, it's cool for casual Internet usage and such, but if you want to game for example, there's no alternative to Windows. Plus, if I'm accustomed to Windows, why should I switch? I'm not dumb enough to download and run a virus, so I don't really care about that issue. RE: Switch. End that fight. - Code King - 10-13-2009 This is pointless, Linux is not the best operating system. The reason its loved is because its open source, i would never switch from windows or mac to linux as my primary platform. RE: Switch. End that fight. - p0w3r0fchr1st - 10-13-2009 I really like mac too... I just can't afford one. RE: Switch. End that fight. - InsideSin - 10-13-2009 I'm just going to stick Linux Mint onto my USB drive so that I can have a portable OS with all my files. I'm not gonna use it as a main OS on my comp though. I still need more reason to dual-boot linux on my comp. RE: Switch. End that fight. - D3N - 10-13-2009 (10-13-2009, 08:37 AM)Alowishus Wrote: Theres a war? I know my friend is like "Oh man switch to Linux it rocks!" And yet he tries to run a game and he has to do a bunch of crap. I would rather have something like Windows so it is simple enough and I really dont gotta do much to get stuff going. I don't see a war. I see a massacre. Windows FTW Not everyone plays games. |
