People in MN are from the "midwest" and the accent in MN, Iowa, and Wisconsin are all similar. It's actually a combination of Netherlands with the Native Americans.
You can consider my geographical skills in class D. And that makes sense now that I think about the history there. And tbh, it's just a slang term I've adopted for the northern folks. It's all good though. Northerners are Americans too; despite their weird accents.

I know a few friends out in Texas that pick on my southern accent, but you know, it's an attractive cultural accent I suppose Smile

And just to add to our culture, we have this shitty genre called country music:

RE: Accents - Lukas - 08-20-2010

I'm Canadian - from western Canada, so to all of us we sound normal, but whenever I travel I'm told I do say "eh" sometimes, and tend to put emphasis on my "O".

RE: Accents - Daniel Faraday - 08-21-2010

I don't have an accent. =/
I used to live in Louisiana so I talked funny, then I moved to Texas and started saying ya'll, then I moved to Colorado and got fed up with people telling me I talked funny.

I have a very deep voice and don't really have an accent at all anymore.

I'm from Northern Ireland so got that accent but i can also speak in an english accent.

Using Sam's guy. Look from 1.15 for Northern Ireland. Though mine isn't like that.

I am from the East Coast, but I still have my family's Russian accent.

A good example.
