It depends on her character. If she's sweet & caring (etc...) she probly won't deny you, but if she will, you'll stay friends for sure.
But she's probably this type as you two are together now Smile

I think it could be worth it. Just try to make it as subtle and casual as possible. Don't get on one knee and tell her that you can't live with out her, just ask her if she wants to go and see dinner and a movie.
