Hello;
Omniscient has a large user-base on many of his forums, therefore is able to jump start a forum with relative ease if the users are interested in it. I applaud him for his efforts, and his great job so far.

Backlinks give a good PR. Simple really. Might have something to do with the backlink comps here?

Jesse (omniscient) is a very smart person... He many hundreds of subscriptions on MyBBCentral, he probably sent everyone on all his forums mass PM's to tell them about this site and probably get lots of great feedback.

Well i just did a search for support forums and guess what?
#3 of 168 mill or so. Sure pms to existing members gets some results but so does great SEO work. Which is obviously the case here.

When you have a database of a couple milion users it's not hard to get people to a new forum. Just send a pm to all of them and you're done. Easy as that.
