Swaganomic's letters are blurry so therefor it's not really good. He just added 2 text layers and 2 copies of an image.

There's this user, The Major, who posted a thread recently of his design and I feel like it has huge potentially for being the official avatar. Even if he did just take pieces from the site's banner and put them together, it's still dead on and looks as if it came with the banner as a set. Take a look for yourself:
