i drew it on and made it the same colour as the iris before, i tried to make it blend by adding shine to the eye but it failed

Try to blend it with the Background a bit more, and imo the green irish just matches the whole template. (:

The apple really does ruin it. Although I think if blended correctly it could look very nice.
