Looking for a partner. - iLegendary - 01-26-2010 I have thought of creating my own forum in a long time now, and now is the time. I have money for a domain and we'll be using MyBB(Maybe Invision Board if its free?). I am open to suggestions on what the forums may be about(gaming, art etc). Requirements: • You need some experience managing and judging people properly. • Minimum age of 14 (You have to act as mature as you can). • Be friendly. • Judge fairly. • Write properly. There might be others to come... Please PM me if your interested or leave a reply in the thread! Also it's a plus if you know howto edit or code a MyBB theme so we can have our own! - Cheers RE: Looking for a partner. - Jordan L. - 01-26-2010 Sorry, not posting in here for the application. But just point out that Invision Power Board isn't free, it's about $250 But as I told you over msn, I'd be happy to be affiliates with you. RE: Looking for a partner. - iLegendary - 01-26-2010 Oh damn, it's such a nice software Yes you did, and we'll talk about that when I get the forum up and running properly ;) RE: Looking for a partner. - Lukas - 01-28-2010 Hello, iLegendary. I am interested in starting another forum with someone else. I have ran, owned, administrated, moderated, and been a member of many forums. Though I am only 14, I know how to work multiple forum softwares, and by far I would suggest using MyBB, as Invision is not free as previously stated. I can put time and dedication into a new forum, and I am always looking into chances to expand my knowledge on forums, as well as online communities and administration. I have decent grammar which is a must for any new online community. If you are still interested in this, please send me a PM, or E-mail me at: lukaslarsson@submise.com Thanks; ~Lukas RE: Looking for a partner. - TheLifelessOne - 01-28-2010 Hehe, I've got a forum just like this. I hope you know XHTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript and SQL. You'll need it eventually... RE: Looking for a partner. - iLegendary - 01-29-2010 Lukas, I already found a partner through MSN . You may join the forum and be active to attract new members and we'll see if you fit in as a Moderator. RE: Looking for a partner. - Grizzly - 01-29-2010 I have an couple IPB licenses for sale. Check out the SF marketplace. RE: Looking for a partner. - Lukas - 01-29-2010 iLegendary, I may do that, what would the sites URL be?
