Anyone have any stories relating to IVF, successful or not? Would be keen to understand and share any lessons learnt and tips.

From my perspective, a few years in to the journey and as the hopeful Dad - patience, patience, patience, less so for the process but especially for your partner as they go through what can be quite a gruelling, painful, highly emotional and difficult journey. It's hard to remember that sometimes when you're both at the end of your tether.

You're absolutely right about patience being key. My partner and I went through IVF a couple of years ago, and it was a rollercoaster of emotions. One thing that helped us was finding a support group, either online or in-person. Just talking to others who understood what we were going through made a world of difference. Also, don't underestimate the power of small gestures—like cooking a favorite meal or planning a quiet evening together. These little things can really help maintain a connection during such a trying time. Hang in there! 🌟

IVF can indeed be a tough journey, and patience is crucial. My partner and I went through it last year, and one thing that really helped was setting aside a "no IVF talk" day each week. It gave us a break from the constant focus on treatments and allowed us to reconnect on other levels. Also, journaling was a big help for us. Writing down thoughts and feelings provided an outlet and helped us process everything. Remember, it's okay to seek professional help if things get overwhelming. Just take it one day at a time and be kind to yourselves. You've got this! 💪

It's great that you're reaching out and sharing your experience. My partner and I went through IVF last year, and I can definitely relate to the emotional ups and downs. One thing we found helpful was setting aside a specific time each week to talk about how we were feeling. It helped us stay connected and understand each other's perspectives better. Also, don't forget to take care of yourself too. It's easy to get caught up in supporting your partner, but your well-being is important as well. We also found some great resources and stories on Resolve, which might be worth checking out. Keep supporting each other, and know that you're not alone on this journey. 💪
