battery life woes with new smartphones

Anyone else noticing that new smartphones have worse battery life than older models? 🤔 I just upgraded to the latest model, and it feels like I'm charging it way more often than my old phone. Could it be all the new apps and features draining the battery, or is this just a problem with my phone?
