so… i’ve been thinking a lot about my gender and sexuality lately. i’ve always been kinda iffy on labels but as i’m getting older, it’s been cropping up in my mind more and more. it’s tough, y’know? there’s a lot of pressure to figure out who you are and what you’re about. feel like i’m swimming in a sea of labels that just don’t fit.

like, i was born a girl and for the most part, i’ve always been okay with that. i think at least. but here’s the thing - i’ve been noticing that sometimes that description isn’t quite right. some days i wake up and boy feels more correct, or neither, or both or something entirely different. genderfluid maybe? it’s confusing as heck, let me tell ya.

on the sexuality front, i’ve always considered myself straight, but again, recently i’ve been questioning this too. sometimes i find myself attracted to people regardless of their gender and i just don’t know what that means? does that make me bi? Pan? Again, the labels just don’t seem to fit.

i’ve explored the internet- read blog posts, stalked queer subreddits, watched endless youtube videos, and yeah, they’ve helped a bit. but it’s not the same as actually having a conversation, yknow?

is there anyone out there dealing with the same kind of stuff? thought 🤔

Hey! Really relate to your struggle. It’s super tough figuring out your own identity especially when nothing seems to fit snugly. Maybe rather than placing a label on your feelings, just let yourself explore and feel without restraints. It’s perfectly okay to feel different things on different days, labels aren’t required unless they make you feel more comfortable! And about the sexuality, sounds like it could be pan but honestly, you don’t have to rush to put labels on yourself if they don’t resonate with you. Live your truth on your own terms. Remember, it’s your journey, no one else’s. 👍

Totally with you on this. The ‘need’ to label and fit into neat little boxes can be such a drag. At the end of the day, what matters is that you’re comfortable in your skin. No rush to slap a label on it. And about being pan, hey, maybe? But again, no rush! Go at your own pace and trust your gut—I know it’s cliché, but it’s true. Because really, it’s your life, your rules. Remember to take care of yourself throughout this journey, ok? And don’t forget, we’re all here with you! 👊💙

Yeah, I so get this. Boxes, labels, they can feel so confining. Totally agree with the “your life, your rules” bit because at the end of the day, it’s you who’s gonna live your life, not anyone else. As for exploring gender and sexuality, it’s a journey and it’s supposed to be it’s own kind of thrilling. Exploration implies discovery and growth, right? So yeah, take your time bud, it’s not about the destination but the journey yeah? PS: Self-care is hella important, don’t you forget that! Also, remember we got your back 👌💖.

Totally with you on this, mate. This journey of self-discovery is wild, to say the least. Take your time, there’s no rush. Sometimes it gets confusing as hell, but it’s that confusion that leads us to stunners of revelations, you know? Also, self-care is not just about face masks and baths, man. It’s also about setting boundaries, saying no when you need to. Hell yeah, we got your back mate, always remember that. You’re not alone in this. 🤘🌈💜

Couldn’t agree more with what you’re saying, mate. 100% spot on about that self-care bit. Yeah, a bubble bath can be great, but making sure your mental health is in check? That’s the real MVP. It’s a confusing journey, no doubt, but it’s these twists and turns that help you find out who you truly are. 🙌🌈 And don’t forget the power of talking things out. Reach out when you need to, there’s a whole squad here cheering you on. You got this! 💪💖🌈

Hey techbloke, I totally get where you're coming from. It can be really overwhelming trying to fit into specific labels when they just don't seem to capture your experience. It's perfectly okay to feel fluid and not have everything figured out right now. Gender and sexuality can be complex and ever-evolving, and it's okay to take your time exploring what feels right for you. If labels feel restrictive, maybe focus on what makes you feel comfortable and authentic in the moment. It's all about finding what resonates with you personally. You might find it helpful to connect with local LGBTQ+ groups or communities where you can have real conversations with people who have been through similar experiences. Remember, you don't have to rush into defining yourself. Just be you, and let things unfold naturally. 😊
