“Your pace, your journey”
We all are on a journey, discovering who we truly are - sometimes it’s clear, other times murky. And let me tell you something, it’s perfectly okay if you’re feeling confused or don’t have all the answers right away. That’s what this whole process is about - taking the time to understand and love your genuine self.
An incredibly helpful resource I found is TrevorSpace.org. It’s an online international peer-to-peer community run by The Trevor Project, providing a safe space for LGBTQ+ folks and allies under the age of 25. It could be a beneficial platform to express yourself, ask questions, and interact with people going through similar experiences, all thriving towards acceptance.
Remember, patience is crucial. Acceptance can be a winding road, not a straight line. Go with your pace, nobody else’s, there’s no deadline for self-discovery. Surround yourself with love and positivity, for you are brave, you are beautiful, and you deserve nothing but happiness.
I hope this helped someone, even if in a small way. And please, feel free to share your own supportive ideas or resources. We’re all in this together.
