Who else is excited about the roll out of 5G? Sure, we’ve been hearing about it for a few years now but it really seems like 2021 might be the year it becomes a standard for most of us. High-speed streaming, gaming, real-time services…they will all become more accessible and efficient, thanks to the speed that 5G promises.
It’s also interesting to think about how 5G will impact the Internet of Things and smart home devices. With faster and more reliable connections, we could see these devices take on even bigger roles in our lives. Imagine being able to download a 2 hour long movie within seconds, just because your internet connection is blazingly fast. Sounds exciting, doesn’t it?
But with all great innovations, there may be downsides we are yet to encounter. Security threats, privacy concerns, and higher costs are just a few potential drawbacks.
