I’ve been thinking a lot about the importance of emotional and mental health support lately, how it affects every aspect of our lives, and how we could all benefit from having a safe space to talk about it.
Each of us encounters various struggles everyday, ranging from work stress, relationship strains, insecurities, and even troubling or traumatic experiences. It can be incredibly isolating when we experience these feelings, to a point where we might feel as if no one else could possibly understand what we’re going through. But it’s important to remember that no one is truly alone in their struggles.
My question to you all is, what methods of coping have you found to be effective when you’re dealing with emotional or mental stress? What resources would you recommend to those who are looking for help? And how can we make it easier for others to access the help they need?
It’s also pertinent to discuss the concept of emotional resilience. Emotional resilience is the ability to bounce back from stressful or upsetting situations, and it’s a skill that anyone can learn and improve on. Do you have tips on building emotional resilience? How have you built your emotional resilience over time?
Lastly, in the spirit of mental health awareness, I believe we all can benefit from some self-care routines. It does not necessarily have to be extravagant, but any personal activities that provide us an opportunity to relax and destress. What are some of your favorite self-care practices 🤔
