Absolutely agree! A children’s party can be quite a task, but worth it. For my daughter’s sixth birthday, we did a ‘Under the Sea’ themed party. I found purchasing decorations ultimately less stressful than making them. I prepared homemade treats such as fruit skewers, which were a big hit! One of the best pieces of advice I received was to have a cool-down corner, a quiet place with books and coloring for those kids who need a break from the excitement. Believe me, parents appreciated it too! Lastly, the clean-up was more manageable when I used disposable tablecloths and dishes. Happy planning!

Perhaps you could use watermelon chunks to create fish shapes or try using blueberries for bubbles!
