I couldn’t agree more, the cup of tea can be a unique experience for everyone! I love to start it with loose leaf tea and a good quality pot. I usually let the tea steep for at least 3 minutes, something my grandmother taught me. The brewing time really makes a difference for a perfect cup. As for the milk and sugar debate, I usually go without both, but on really cold days a spoonful of honey adds the perfect touch to enhance the natural flavours of the tea. So, I guess my ‘perfect’ cup of tea is really contingent on the weather!
