Its that time of the year again. The time of the year when we remember the birth of Jesus by chopping down a tree, covering it in glitter and lights, and shoving n amounts of gifts under it. Don't ask me why. Post a picture of yours.

Being a student, im somewhat too poor to afford a tree. So me and my flat mates got together and built one out of post-it notes.

PS: Before the flames arrive, i know that Christmas trees have nothing to do with Christ, it was a comment on how the meaning of the holiday has somewhat been trivialized by commercialism

maybe not, but it confused DrS in the IRC yesterday and i didnt want the thread cluttered with messages of people trying to tell me that the Christmas tree is not a Christian symbol.

Pink doesn't actually match in with a green tree. You shoulda did brown as the tree stump!

The closest thing to brown postit notes we had was orange, they didnt look odd enough

It never confused me.
I plainly stated, that christmas trees have nothing to do with Christ, or his birth.
