When I try to unzip the file, I get:

The compressed (zipped) Folder is invalid or corrupted.
Ok, just download these files then.
Put 'em in your \Mozilla Firefox\components folder.

Okay, I've got a much more annoying problem. When I try to open FireFox, I get:

That URL is not valid and cannot be loaded.

When I reinstall the browser, the problem goes away...ONCE. The second time after a reinstall, I get the annoying little popup.

I don't have very many extensions but I have a few. I suspect that someone's update is causing this. I'm gonna try disabling them one by one and, if that doesn't fix the problem, I'm going back to FF 1.5.
Okay, the problem appears to have been the All-in-One Sidebar. That's a shame because it was handy.

Now I'll work on the dictionary problem.
Okay, those files were already there but I renamed them and inserted the new files. That didn't fix it. I think I'll just install Google toolbar for FF and ignore the red underlines.
Are you using Firefox on an old computer?
Because maybe it has a hardware or software problem, and that's why things aren't working properly.
I dunno.

This looks pretty suspicious.

Nope. It's a brand new computer.
Hmm. This is getting more complicated as time presses on.
I'm gonna have to appeal this case to Mozilla and demand a cash refund Tongue

Well, I could always ask on another forum where others are smarter than me.

Dr Small
That'll be the one with me in it, then ;)

Just kidding.

If you're so clever, why make me join another forum and post the problem, when you can just post this fix right here? Tongue
