Well, here i am with another problem....I'm reluctant to reinstall FF as FW suggested.

When i am posting (there!!! it just happened again) that darn cursor disappeared. I had to call it back. click

Where does it go?
Does it know it's gone?
Does it care? (I sure do)
Does it miss being useful?
Maybe it's click sneaking off to meet an icon..., or two - I've had a few of those vanish over the last few days.

Where's Loose Change when ya need them?. There's somebody click inside my computer.

Stranger things have happened but i can't prove any of it. I've been advised by the ASCII Foundation for Character Autonomy and Recognition to drop the whole matter...(they're threatening to 'loose' all the vowels and sometimes even the 'y' )

It's getting serious. Random, yet ominous symbols are appearing in the System Tray... :O

I'm loosing sleep over this ..aagggh! - click) thing.

I could show you a picture of how tired and worn down I look, but it's classified Eyes Only. Sure, I could show you, but then I'd have to throw click you and the picture into a locked room and throw the room away.
(More on that later.)

I'm leaving now.
I have to find that key
....uh, for that room
....ya, that's it...a room that i can throw away.
....(more on that later) - there's an echo in here. That's new. :S
Maybe it's a mouse setting. Does it only disappear when you type?

I remember there used to be a setting in Control Panel > Mouse (or someplace) and you could check the box to make the cursor disappear when you type. Tongue
Yeah there is a setting to do that FF, but if you have to click to make it return then that's wierd.
Hey, thanks for your input and suggestions.....

No. My mouse has not been set or adjusted. The same problem occurs when i am into my email account as well. It may be that i'll have to redo my entire system...aaagggh!

Perhaps it's a glitch in my OS....

I've asked the same question on a Techie forum....no answer yet, but i'm hopeful of a solution. I'm really enjoying using FF and muchly appreciate the help that people such as yourselves offer to us 'virgins'. Handshakes all around and drinks on me......
Does it only disappear when you're typing, or whenever you're not using it?

As i am click typing the cursor goes on vacation

...it's like something in the background goes click active (??). But nothing else was on.
You mean when you CLICK it disappears? hmmmm
:wakko: It's clear to me that my cursory problem is trivial. The italicized 'click' i wrote in my post(s) were moments when my cursor headed north and left me in the middle of a word and i'd have to click into the page to get it back....when that happened i was demonstrating the frequency by noting the vanishing act in my posts (with the click).

Like i've mentioned before; if there is a way to complicate something, i will find it.:S -

Not to worry, my cyberfriends; all is well...I have come to the conclusion of this matter. It's my OS (must be) and I'll redo everything in the near future. MadI hate it when that happens because it's so involved; but i'm also OCD (Obsessive Compulsive) and i love watching the progress bars and 'percent completed' indicators - so it's like having a small party in my mind (Oh boy!, Oh boy) while i go on auto pilot...

The special interest group that was threatening to take all my vowels away (and sometimes the 'y') has been all bark and no byte. It seems that they just wanted to get a bit of attention.

Problem solved. I'll keep on cursing until i fix it. Big Grin
Oh! I get why you were saying click now. Tongue

Must be a problem with your OS. I've never heard tell of this before.

I know my cursor used to "walk itself" to the other side of the screen, but when I installed Ubuntu that quit. Tongue
Hmmmm. Unknown problem to me Joug. I've never heard of it.

Maybe you should find some PC / Computer help forum and ask there? I assure you I have no clue!
