I find that insulting and very untrue.
I have hacked without people giving their password to me,
and once more, you wouldn't know, so you shouldn't
be speaking.

You don't need a password ot hack. If you have a password, it's not hacking.
Yeah, Protoman is right. If you already HAVE the password, it is not hackin.
If you GET the password, thats hacking...
(I think)

That's called
trespassing.

and I don't hotlink, for that reason.
I just figured the world would be safer, if you knew that
hotlinking is considered an internet crime
So is hacking. I'm not saying two wrongs make a right but like the Bible says, take the log out of your own eye before worrying about the speck in your brother's eye.
Not all hackers are bad, and I am one of the good ones.
I contribute and help the internet, not destroy,
ruin, gain and prosper from others mistakes.
Hotlinking is considered a crime, just as Black Hat hacking
is also. I could consider myself a White Hat Hacker, since
I don't destroy things, but rather build them up so they
become stronger.

If you break into sites without the owner's permsission, that's the same thing as breaking into their house without their permission. If you break into someone's house and say that you're doing it to make their security stronger, you think that's okay? You think they're gonna thank you?
I was a White Hat, and still am, though I hack mostly my own sites (the ones I've written from scratch) to test security and resolve any prominent issues.
Well, I sure can't see anything wrong with hacking your own sites. Again, it's like my analogy. If you try to break into your own house to try to find security weaknesses, you're perfectly within your rights.
I normally hack my own stuff, as like you said, to find my own weaknesses, but if someone else asks me to find their weeknesses to make their site more secure and stronger, I don't see any harm in that.
(Not that I would ruin their site, if I hacked it, but help them out and show them their weaknesses, like that asked me to.)

Well, now if they ASK you to do it, it's an entirely different matter.
