Hi,
I'm a huge Otaku ( extreme anime fan ). And recently I've decided I want to take up learning Japanese. So I went to the bookstore and bought a book on beginner's Japanese. I'm only on like second section of the book, but I've learned so much it's ridiculous. I love it. Big Grin

So yeah, what languages do you guys speak? And whats your primary language? How and why did you decide to learn your secondary language?

The reason I've decided to learn Japanese is because I plan on moving there one day, and opening a cafe or manga bookstore in Tokyo.
My first language is English, obviously, and I can almost speak Spanish fluently.
Because my mom is 100% Mexican and her mom who lived with us for some time could only speak Spanish, so I had to learn it.
My first language is English. I've been taking Spanish for 6 years, because my parents make me, but I barely know any of it :\
Spanishtards. Omoshirokatta desu!

My primary languages are both French and Dutch, and my second language was English. What is up with the generation tailing me being so obsessive over pseudo-Japanese culture?
My first is English, and my second is Spanish, because it's what the schools near me offer. I wanted to learn Italian but my middle school didn't have it and my high school would've been too hard as a first year class
My first is Norwegian, Then English.
My first is Arabic, then English then French Smile
My first language is German and then English. I needed to do business outside my country that's why I had to learn English. I have learned English in a Language school which is also a Holyday destination.
both my parents are American and my primary is English, im learning French though, because im about to take it in school.
