Well, I joined HackForums in 07 and it was much like this. No post really or replies. But Omni thought it would be a good idea to merge the forum with another as I understand. I hated that at the time because having 100 post meant you made up like 15 percent of the total post. Over night there were people with more then a 1000 post that had not been accounted for in HF and they thought they were something special. I hope the mistake doesn't happen here.

Give it time
A lot of people are afraid to post (for fear of getting flamed I guess) but most just do not post because they generally feel they have nothing to add to the conversation/thread.
