Full Version: Microsoft .Net Framework Help

Ok so right now I have Microsoft .Net Framework 3.0, 2.0, and 3.5 SP1 Installed. So my question is do I need all of these installed or can I remove the two older versions? Please Reply.

I asked a question along the same lines here.
Although that was about C++ the framework is probably the same way. Not sure though.

That guy's answer doesn't really make sense. If SP1 is in SP2 and SP2 is in SP3 that would me you could be able to delete the 1st two.
Ok guys I found the answer to the question. If you want you can remove version 1.0 and 1.1 if you have them but you need to have 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5 for it to work. If you want the original article here is the link http://www.raymond.cc/blog/archives/2009...-programs/ .
You better not messed with that microsoft thing , cause it just reserved 5-10 mb of space , while 3.5 take some extra..
but if you really want to remove , than uninstall first one only
