Why can't we lock our own threads? I personally don't need it but it would lighten the load on mods/staff and I always see a lot of people asking for threads to be locked once their question is answered.
I would support this suggestion IF everyone would use this feature responsibly and maturely.

I'm for this suggestion.
Hello.

Yeah, but i think this should be for VIP only, because to be honest, this is just like HF, UB3R can lock their own thread, and locking your own thread is a moderators job really.

But i guess i could support this, its up to Omniscient.

thanks

Or at least have an option to clearly state that your thread is answered...or people could just change the title but most are too lazy. Regardless, I think locking your own thread would be easier and I don't really see how people could abuse it.
Hi, Nemmyy.

I don't think this is a good idea, although I know it would make the Staff's job easier but if you think again, how many people would abuse it?

Some people would find a way. But I think this idea might work.

There is no "VIP" as someone suggested earlier, nor is there any plan for such a thing to be implemented. To be honest, having to lock people's threads for them isn't that big of a deal. It's not like HF, where there're hundreds of reports at any given time. It's up to Omniscient.
