I was wondering if there is anyway to get wifi on a laptop without a wifi card. w/o opening it up and installing something.

yea, there are a bunch that connect by usb and prices vary by a lot.

You can buy one for 30 dollars at walmart. Just be careful you get the right type of network - seeing as different type networks are compatible with some and not others... your probably safe with a G network.
You can get a "dongle". It is a small USB device that works the exact same as a wifi card.
